Day 90.

Bethany’s mother is one of the most Godly women I know. Its like every word she speaks is God inspired. And she is one of the most humble Christians I have the pleasure of knowing. So today when I went over to Bethany’s house for dinner (which her mother made from scratch!!) Ms. Miller was talking about a sermon that she had just listened to. It was talking about the verse in Revelation.

Revelation 3:16 “So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.”

Not many people know this, but this verse terrifies me. I mean, Jesus would literally rather have you drinking your life away at some cheesy bar, then living as a 1/2 way Christian. And most of the time, that’s exactly how I feel. I feel like I am not as on fire for God as I should be. Epically going to a Pentecostal school where their whole religion is yelling and screaming FOR GOD. Its really hard and I have no idea how to overcome it.

The Greek for ‘spit out’ roughly translates to vomit. I don’t want God to vomit me.
